As a quick count, there are at least 5 or 6 specific areas in a Savage head which could be optimized (small to medium stuff, I'm not referring to anything major such as relocating the ports). I never bothered to make any mods to Savage but the mods have worked well on other heads. But as you have already had a ported BSA, did you port it yourself? So do you need any of this general porting info?
